Bella Casino review

Our Bella Casino review looks at a smaller casino brand from the Rank Group. Rank is best known for Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo. Bella sits alongside them as a slots-led site with live tables and Slingo.

Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Ltd runs Bella Casino under UK Gambling Commission account 57924. The same account covers Grosvenor, Mecca, Rialto, Kitty Bingo, Magical Vegas and several other brands. You can check the active bellacasino.com domain on the Gambling Commission public register.

When we checked, the register showed no regulatory actions against this licence. In addition, Rank moved Bella onto its own technology platform in 2020. So the site shares much of its set-up with its better-known sister brands.

In this Bella Casino review we cover the offer, games, payments and safer gambling. If some terms are unfamiliar, our glossary of betting and gambling terms can help.

New players can get 100 free spins worth 10p each. First, you need a fully verified account. Then you deposit £10 and stake £10 on the slot Kong 3 Even Bigger Bonus.

Once you do that, the 100 spins land on the same game. You have 7 days to use them. However, any winnings arrive as bonus funds with 10x wagering. You must complete that wagering on Kong 3 within 7 days.

The verification rule matters too. You must finish your ID checks before the offer applies, so upload documents early.

There is another catch. PayPal and Paysafe deposits don’t count, so you need to use a card or another method. In addition, both the stake and the wagering must go on one named slot.

For this Bella Casino review, we rate the offer as average. The 100 spins are generous for £10. That said, 10x wagering and the single-game rule make the winnings harder to cash out than at no-wagering rivals. As always, only deposit what you are happy to spend.

Bella Casino focuses on slots. The lobby includes sections for Megaways, jackpots, classic slots and new releases. There are also Slingo, scratchcards and arcade-style games, which suit players who want something quicker.

Independent reviews count more than 500 games, so the library is mid-sized rather than huge. Providers include Pragmatic Play, Blueprint, NetEnt and Games Global, among others. As a result, you’ll find many well-known titles, plus jackpots such as Mega Moolah and WowPot.

The live casino offers roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows. Meanwhile, the Daily Play Rewards section gives you free games with a chance of a prize. These are a nice extra for regular players.

The lobby also has themed collections, such as Jackpot Hunt, Game Shows and a Playtech studio spotlight. In addition, a Recent Top Win Games row shows which slots have paid out well lately. However, past wins don’t change your odds, because every spin is random.

Bella Casino accepts a sensible range of payment methods. The site shows these options:

• Visa and Mastercard debit cards
• PayPal
• Apple Pay
• Trustly
• paysafecard (deposits only)

The minimum deposit is £10. Independent reviews say withdrawals first sit in a pending period of about 24 hours. After that, PayPal and other e-wallets often arrive the same day, while cards can take one to two working days.

Remember that PayPal deposits don’t qualify for the welcome offer. So choose your method carefully if you want the spins. Wagerpals lists no deposit fees, but we could not confirm the withdrawal minimum or fees, so check the cashier.

Overall, this Bella Casino review rates payments as good, mainly because PayPal and Apple Pay are both available. Our guide to online casino basics explains how withdrawals and ID checks work.

Bella Casino doesn’t have a dedicated app for iPhone or Android. Instead, Bella says it has optimised the site for desktop, mobile and tablet. You simply log in through your phone’s browser.

The mobile site works well enough, with the same games and lobby sections as desktop. However, you miss out on features such as fast app log-ins. You can still add a shortcut to your home screen, so the site opens like an app. It is a simple step, and it makes logging in quicker.

For many players this won’t matter much. Still, it is a clear gap compared with sister brands such as Grosvenor and Mecca, which both have apps.

Bella uses Rank’s safer gambling tools. For example, you can set daily, weekly or monthly net deposit limits. You can also use reality checks, take a time-out or self-exclude, and the site supports GAMSTOP.

Rank also runs a safer gambling hub called Keep It Fun, with advice and links to support. It is worth a look even if you feel in control, since it covers limits, time-outs and where to get help. Meanwhile, the footer links to BeGambleAware and GamCare.

Independent reviews say support is by phone and email, with no live chat listed. We could not confirm this on Bella’s own help pages, so check the contact page before you sign up. Remember that gambling is for over-18s only. If you need help, call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133.
