A no-deposit bonus sounds like the perfect offer: something for nothing. And sometimes, it really is. Here’s how they work, and what to watch for.
A no-deposit bonus is a reward you get just for signing up. It’s usually a handful of free spins, and occasionally a small amount of bonus cash. You don’t have to add any money to claim it.
You’ll still need to verify your age and identity, though. UK casinos have to do that before you can play anything… even free demo games. So expect to give your name, address and date of birth, and possibly upload some ID.
The offers are small for a reason. Winnings are often capped, maybe at £50 or £100. If there’s a wagering requirement, it can’t be more than 10 times since January 2026. And some casinos ask you to make a deposit before your first withdrawal, so check that before you play.
The best no-deposit offers are no-wagering spins, where anything you win is paid as cash. They’re a genuinely free way to try a new casino and see whether you like it.
So treat a no-deposit bonus as a free trial, not as a way to make money. Read the terms, and stop if it stops being fun. 18+. Please gamble responsibly.
